Carol Merton is a registered physiotherapist with over 25 years of clinical experience. She has worked with a variety of age groups in hospitals, clinics, retirement homes, long term care facilities and in the private homes of patients and their families. She is an ADP mobility device authorizer with the Assistive Devices Program of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. Carol is passionate about helping people of all ages live full, active and engaged lives.
Carol has a variety of professional and community activities that include teaching the 'Living Well with COPD' program at the Owen Sound Family Health Team and being the Host and Co-Producer of the Rogers TV program 'Heath Link'. She keeps current with the changing health care trends and professional practice standards as a Practice Assessor for the Quality Management Program of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Carol and her husband live in Owen Sound and enjoy taking long walks with their dog Boomer. Her latest adventure is becoming an author and publishing two children’s books.
